Storyline
On Cybertron, the Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are on the verge of losing the Great Cyrentron War to the benefit of their enemies, the Decepticons, and begin to prepare to leave the planet. Decepticons led by Shockwave, Soundwave and Starscream ambush them during evacuation. Optimus sends a young scout, B-127, to Earth to form a base of operations where Autobots can regroup.
The B-127 reached Earth in 1987, having landed in California and interrupted a training exercise conducted by Sector 7, a secret government agency that monitors extraterrestrial activity on Earth. Area 7's officer, Colonel Jack Burns, presumes the B-127 is a hostile invader and attacks him, returning him to the forest, where he is then ambushed by the Decepticon Blitzwing.
